hello everyone, Happy Thanksgiving, GrievousAngel is hanging on.

who plaays PSG on Dale Watson's version of Fox On the Run?

the PSG tone on his share of the kick-off is the most intense PSG tone i think i have heard!

what PSG is he playing? pickups? what ever?

how can i post the tune?

i don't know, but i have never heard any style and tone quite like that.

how can i post the file of the tune so some can get it? i can drop a mp3.

On Fox, the third vocal harmony is Ricky. I don't believe Ricky played steel on that album. Killer album one end to the other!

i would also like to know where it was recorded & who the engineer may have been?

the fiddle has a very sweet, real, in the room tone also.

thanks for the info.

the PSG playing that reached me was not so much the chops but the intensisty of his tone. its one i can't quite put my 'knobs' on.

also, the fiddle sounded very acoustical, not too much mid-highs to cut through.

the odds are it was cut in Austin area maybe?

[earlier post i noticed] hell no i ain't quiting!
