Wade, we're working at Red's. We do some new stuff but it's the more country sounding songs. I do a lot of pickin and grinin in most of the songs we do.

Wade,

Burgess is over at Pearl's Fri. He's got David Norris on steel. Great player.

Jim Lauderdale is at MacHenry's. You may want to see if Tommy Detamore is pickin with him. He's posted on the Forum here many times....

Bodie Powell is at Shady Oak BBQ. Great shuffles. He's also written a ton of great TX Shuffle tunes.

Great Divide is at Horseman, but I seriously doubt they'll have a steeler....

Hope that helps. Defintitely get down to see Solesky & Packman...

Danny

Not sure, but I'm sure you can find it online or phonebook.

Also, Lauderdale is playing with Marty Stuart somewhere in Greenville Saturday...

Ted, I came across the street last Saturday to see you, but I couldn't even get near the bandstand. You had them packed in there real tight and it sounded pretty good.

Hey Danny, Dave used to play in my band around '75. In fact, he was just learning. He could burn on the fast stuff before he could play a chord. I was in Kansas City playing, a guy tapped me on the shoulder, and it was Dave. He was playing with Sonny at the Casino. It sure was good to see him. He is a great player. I think he reads the forum.
Dave...sign up and get on here!
