What is the real skinny on Trot-Mor guitars?
Just how many were actually manufactured and from what dates to what dates? Bobby Seymore had a wooden model for sale some time back which I understand (not from Bobby) was the only non-metal model built. I heard there were only about 13 mfrd.; one wood; a dozen metal. What kind of pickups did they have?
The four singles that Howard White recorded on Hickory label were really nice sounding with tone and sustain and of course, JB used his for quite awhile but did not record with it. Hungry for historical information. |

You may remember in a prev post I mentioned Ira Trotter as playing the combo steel and amp at a hotel in Col. OH. I bought the epiphone from him and also a trotmor. Then got orders for Korea and sold both. Then one I had was a good guitar. CC |

Can anyone say how wide a Trot-Mor is at the NUT where the headstock widens out?
Just curious, of course. |
