As a follow up to the previous B11 thread
I wrote a little solo idea using the six string version of B11th.
If any lap steelers are tuned C6th and want to try the B11th it is a fairly quick change over as per the following:
C6th------B11th
E-----------E
C-----------C#
A-----------A
G-----------F#
E-----------D#
C-----------B

Roy, I took the liberty of posting another link in case others had trouble with the streaming link as I did. Your solo by the way is beautiful. The more B11 I hear the more I like it.

Such a beautiful song. I'm so pleased to have the tab, but when I print it the last few notes on the right of each staff are cut off on both pages. I tried fit to page and scaling options on my printer but it doesn't help. Anyone else having this problem? |

Yes, I had same problem losing the right side by just printing full screen view of it. Solved it by 'clicking right on page 1 (and 2) saving 'picture as' a bmp. file (photo)then using MS Publisher opening a picture frame and inserting (and printing it full size complete) that way. You might do same using MS Word doc. Publisher is easier to control photo size insertion (for me, at least). Hope this helps. Great Tab & tune, Roy ..Mahalo! |

I'm glad you found a solution. But for me, I think I'll draw in the strings and missing notes with a pen. Any other suggestions? |

Mitch,
I appreciate your problem and know the feeling.
After saving ,, open,,click file and then
page set up,,,try legal rather than letter
and see what happens. You can make other adjustments there if necessary.
It just worked fine for me.
All the best

Mitch, (and Roy or anyone who is having problems printing out the full size beautiful tab of Ku U Maka that Roy compiled). I took the liberty of saving the 2-pages as a jpg photos, resized the image size to 8"x10". Now if opened and printed it fills an 8 1/2" x 11" page and captures full image. (Much easier than my earlier MsPublisher or Ms Word doc suggestion). I emailed to Mitch and will gladly send to anyone else who needs a little help getting it to 'ink on paper' stage. It's too precious not to have if you want the tab. Email me @ oceansmirage@aol.com if you want the two pages in jpg (photo) format? Dan & Roy, Thanks for the help. I checked my email and there were the scanned tabs. They printed out perfectly. I can't wait to try it. You are the kind of people that make the Steel Guitar Forum the great resource that it is. Mahalo. |

It's contagious...the sharing and kindness that 'steel players' seem to have here, heck I'm still a newbie, yet it's become the 1st and last thing I check ..STGF...day in and night out, learning more everyday and inspired by the talent and generosity of those who belong and take part here. I feel blessed to have found this slot and I'm gonna hang on to it like it's gold...'cos it is!! Dan |
