I'm going to see a Robert Earl Keen show on thursday, nov.4th in NYC. Anybody seen him in concert recently? I was wondering #1 if he had a steel player, and #2 if the steel player is Marty Muse?

Marty's been playing with Robert for quite a while, and I saw them play together in Nashville in September so I'd say it's a pretty good bet he'll be there...

Sounded great too!

Done a bunch of shows with them in the past. My big time fav is "I'm Goin' to Town". The band gets to jam for a while and Marty does some real nice C6th stuff, solo, barely any other instruments playing. It's killer.

Went to the show on thursday night...great steel player. Marty Muse makes it look easy to play as fast and clean as anybody. Great player to go see if he comes to your area.
