This is a long shot? But I worked at the mountain music opry in Green Mountain Falls, Co. in 1972. The steel player that played there that summer, his name has slipped my mind. I was wondering if anybody knew his name. I know it was a long time ago, but I thought I would give it a shot.

Could it have been Russ Hayes??? He passed away about 2 years ago here in Pueblo, he was a tall lankey curley headed guy.

I think he played a double neck Sho~Bud??

I played a couple of dates with him about 15 years ago.
