Hi Steelers,
As a new member I am enjoying every minute. Also, I'm the C.B. who is now the proud owner of the black D-10 Mullen that Del was playing at the St. Louis convention thia year. What an amazing sounding guitar. After playing many, many years and having many different guitars including three P/P Emmons, I can honestly say the tone of this guitar is absolutely the best I have ever heard.
What a great system this is to share info about the greatest instrument in the world and proud to be able to make a small contribution.
Fellow Steeler,
C.B.

Hey CB:
Wellcome to the Forum. This is a great source of good info and a great way to meet other pickers.
There are two clubs in Florida that I am aware of. The Florida steel guitar club meets in Panasofkee on the second Wednesday and our club in Bradenton meets on the third Tuesday. You will be more than welcome at either.

Hi James Marlowe,
It just so happens I was born in Spartanburg,S.C. and still nave family there. Who knows we might be kinfolks. My brother is now living in Inman and was the athletic director of all Spartanburg county for many years before he retired. His name is Ronnie. My Dad's name was Hilliard, his brothers were Boyd, Arthur and George, all are no longer with us.
I've been in Florida since I was a pup and now living in Titusville on the east coast across from the space center.
Been playing a long time and still enjoying it to it's fullest. Thanks for the reply.
C.B.
