Welcome to the forum, Ralph. It would be a lot easier to name the steel players I don't like. I can't think of any off hand.

I have to agree with Howard !
There is only one steeler - I'v heard
both his licks and every missed grip and
his stumbling around to find the melody
line & just get tired of listening to him !
That would be ---- Me ! --
All the rest of the steelers here are top
notch bunch

Hi Ralph, (and everyone else)
I'm a brand new member myself - this is the first thing I've written on the forum! I've been on the outside looking in for a while though... And based on that, I'd say we now find ourselves among some great steel players, but also really fine folks.
Greetings from Utah!

Hi Ralph and Duane
Hello from Georgia, where if you don't like the weather, just hang around 10 minutes and it will change. Bunch of marvelous pickers here. It don't get any better than this so just "get er done"

What a fine place here on the forum. I am new to the forum as well as to the instrument. I have one question...with all these great pickers here in Texas I don't know if it is a great place to learn or the place to always be behind the rest; I am sure it is the same way in other places but I am here so apply as it does.....just kidding....keep up the great work here on the forum. |
