A girl from Canada works in my office, and says there was a steel player that played with Tommy Hunter several years ago that was from her home town of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia. Any of you guys know who it may have been?

Being that I know Tommy, I'll pass this question on to him. He is a great guy and will answer anyone's questions at any time.
I will also foreward your e-mail address to him as well and he will more than likely contact you himself.

Hi Darvin,
2 names that come to mind are Bob Lucier and Stevie Smith.
I'm pretty sure they both worked with Tommy, tho' I don't know where they originally come from.
They're both monster players, too!

Al Brisco also worked the road with Tommy
for a time.
I am not aware of anyone from the east coast who shared the honor with others mentioned.

Bob Lucier is the guitarist I recall..... He has at least one album "out" which I happen to have; believe he has several available.
Fine steel guitarist! A lil' touch of Lloyd Green and/or Sho-Bud can be heard in his "fabulous TONE"....

From the man himself.
........I have had a few steelers with us over the years but the most frequent with our shows has been Bob Lucier, who has from Eastern Canada. I had Ollie Strong and Steve Smith with our band at various times. Steve Smith still plays in our road band today........
