Our lead singer wanted me to learn "Loose Talk".. the Carl Smith 1954 version. It has a latin beat and goes to 2/4 on the bridge. This was a real golden era for the steel. Lot's of 3 and 4 chord stuff that you can figure out without tab. Good for newbie steeler's getting use to pushing A & B while making melodies. Another good one we are learning is "Let Old Mother Nature Have Her Way".... about the same era.
