Anybody familiar with this musician? Given name Mearl.
Gigged around the Madison Wis., Minneapolis areas, and is a member of the Midwest Country Music Hall of Fame.
A neighbor, who is an avid steel guitar enthusiast, says her mom had a connection several years ago, and she is looking for info.
She showed me a '81 edition of Madison Country that pictured him with a '57 strat, but she insists he played straight steel and was into the "talking steel" technique. Thanks JO.
