Hy guys.
The mailman came by and delivered me an enveloppe.In it was a tape from Ted.
On that tape are great songs.Sung by "Billy Keeble" and with Ted on steel guitar.It's the raw version 'cause it has no fiddle player on it.
It took me some time to convert this to my computer but after investing 6bucks and some time it's on my computer.
Ted told me that he had 2 favorites on that tape.And he is correct.....these are the best IMO.
You guys check it out....
This is something you got to hear.

It's evident the sound man is an ex-rhythm player. 
As I've said before Ted Solesky is one of Texas' hidden treasures when it comes to playing PSG. No fancy crap, just plain solid sideman steel guitar. Makes the singer sound good and kills it when it comes time to "ride". Good stuff Ted and thanks Ron

I second that.Ted should cut and instrumental album.The way that he is playing he should do it.Gonna have to mail him I think.

| Thanks for the kind remarks. They are appreciated. I knew that there are a lot of pickers out there that like the classic material. They don't get more shuffle than this. I did this back in 89 and had fun doing it. |

I have a CD by Ted. Done live with his band. First, the recording and mix is absolutly perfect. The band players are great. Then add Ted and it's so good I can't describe it.
I'll go with Ronald. Time for an instrumental CD, Ted. We won't regret it.

| Mike, you're right. I lived in Pa for 35 yrs. I have super friends back that way that I really miss. I went thru the 'D' and decided to try different scenery. I moved to Vegas in 80. I got tired of the town since I don't gamble or drink and moved here to Texas 2 yrs later, on the advise of a close friend who passed away - Lee Holley. I have super nice friends in Vegas too. But I am glad that I got on the forum here. This is a great! organization. I super enjoy seeing comments from the pros like Mr. Emmons, Bobbe, Paul, Tommy etc. This forum shows the indissoluble love and care for each other and for the instrument. |

| Thanks for the response, Ted. I do remember meeting you when I was first learning how to play. I do recall that you also played other instruments. We met at a nice restaurant in Robesonia(I think), and I do recall being absolutely bowled over by your playing, and also how friendly you were to this newcomer to the scene. |
