Well, I'm on the road -- back 'home' in Michigan. Anybody in the SW Michigan area is welcome to come by.

I'll be doing a jazz quartet gig with Lana Hawkins and some great local players at Webster's in the Kalamazoo Radisson tonight (Friday the 19th)

Saturday I'm doing a private party / pig roast up around Grand Rapids in the afternoon and will be jammin' with Jack Dailey and possibly others from Four Wheel Drive in a jazz jam at Stella's Restaurant in Allegan.

Sunday the 21st I'll be at The Old Hat in Lawton with Buggs Coombs and the Tone Chaperones, doing Buggs' original tunes, classic country, and roots rock. They have the best beer on the planet.

I'll also be at Stella's next Friday night and possibly at Murowski's Bar in Gobles on Saturday -- that's if I can hang around that long. John Coop will be finishing up my Sho-Bud about that time and I may not be able to wait.

Then I'm headed back to the land of Gators and Hurricanes and will be playing the Florida Steel Guitar Club annual show on September 17.

Y'ALL COME!

Private Party here in Seattle. I am playing with the Hank Williams Revue... There are two reasons why I am nervous:
1)These guys are some of the best musicians in the Pacific Northwest.
2) My first gig playing the C6 neck only, with the directive of little or no pedals.
3) No practice with them. They just gave me a list of songs to learn.
OK three reasons!
I am making a Cheat sheet with keys and intro progressions this afternoon which should help.
