Gene will be doing a show at the Plummer Family Theater in Nov. I missed his last concert. Does anybody know who is playing steel with him as well as lead guitar. Thanks in advance. Mike Holland |

The steel player is Corky Owens. He is a fantasic player and a great guy. Don't miss it. I encourage you to go meet Corky. I go hang out with the Farewell Party band every chance I can. |

Corky is indeed a very fine player and just an all around great guy. He will spend an endless amount of time talking steel with you and is about as modest as they come. He prefers to talk about other steel players that he looks up to such as Lloyd Green & Tommy White.
The guitar players nickname is "Woody" but darn if I can remember his last name. He is from the East Central Texas are around Tyler I believe. He is also a very nice guy and real soft spoken. He has a fantastic playing style and he an Corky are right on time! Just a bunch of great guys and Gene sings as great as ever!
