I play a Miller custom that I purchased in 1969. Does anyone know anything about them or the company?

Bill-they were made here in Illinois-They work pretty much like most student models or early Marlens in that they have a single finger pull/release changer

Bill, the maker was Roger Miller (not me) from Chillocothe, Ill. near Peoria. I played several dates with Roger, including live radio. I believe his shop was flooded many years ago and he quit making guitars. One of his favorites was a guitar made with red cedar, you open the case and it smelled as if you were at grandma's house. Roger, retired from Cat. has not to my knowledge made another guitar, ask Dino, he used to sell them.

Roger
Mine is made of birdseye maple and is really pretty. I was wondering what ever happened to Roger Miller and if they still were doing anything with the guitar.

Bill,
Interesting to know of a Miller Steel in New Mexico - being built in Illinois, Millers were more commonly indigenous to the midwest.
Check your mail, as I've sent some old Miller catalogs you may like to see.
