Yeah he gets mad when I kick him off the seat to play. That's his favorite spot in the whole house!
Hey Ricky, can't wait to see ya when we move back down South. Hope all's well...

That's too cool , i like it. John, your friend looks like i did when i slammed my pacseat lid on my hand. And Bob H. , your pal looks like i did when i tried to play behind a "walk-on" at my previous gig.

Mozart helps me with my right hand technique.
It's said that cats have perfect pitch, I may have to go to "Kitty Lake" to see how far I can pitch this one. (If my wife happens to read this...JUST KIDDING!)

These cats rule. Simon, Sammy, Mozart & Nuchi (that's the name of Bob H's cat) are too cool for school!
Here's a pic of my cat Sammy, who's insisting upon sitting in my lap while I try to record a Dobro part.

Hey guys:
These are great photos! There is a real community of feline steel players out there, isn't there? James, thanks for the kudos on the sho-bud--I bet yours is mighty fine as well!!

Once I learn how to post a picture from my website, I'll update this post.
In the meantime you can see a cute picture from about 8 years ago of my pocket parrot helping me pick on the pedal steel guitar.
Once on the homepage of my website, click on "PICS" and then it's pic #2.

When you have no hands or feet, the best you can do is help with the Volume Pedal.

Back around 1984 Kevin Ryan left his new Franklin with me to adjust the return compensators. Our new kitten,Bandit,Jumped up on the guitar to offer his assistance. My Wife took the photo.

None of our household pets have attempted to play my steel however when I play and sound good, my four parakeets are very happy, when I don't play well they are very voiceful in their acknowlegement of bad sound. They are my worst critics, worse than myself...
