I now have available a CD and Tablature presentation of eight Hymns and two Gospel songs for the E9th Tuning.

| Roy, how do I get mp3 on my computer? each time you show a new song I try to get it and get a black screen. I'm not good on computer but can follow instruction if you would walk me thru it. thanks Jack |

Jack what Player are you using?
Windows Media, Real Audio etc.
Whatever it is ,,,it must be set to
play MP3's and if I recall correctly
you clik on your Player icon then tools,
options, settings.
This is a case of the blind leading the blind
but it's the best I can do.

The People's Gospel Hour with Perry F. Rockwood! I used to listen to that but times have changed and I never turn a radio on anymore. It's all TV and Computer nowadays.

You're welcome George and thank you for giving a listen.
Eight of the ten selections on this offering are played without backup and feature piano and organ chord voicings. In transcribing the music from the Hymnal I found it took some time to get the correct string/pedal combinations. In most cases the chords were sitting right there on the fret board but required a different "grip". Minors, majors, sevenths in close proximity lying right next to one another waiting to be played. It does require good blocking technique as the sliding from one chord to another is not possible. This results in a nice Piano, churchy sound when mastered.
It's a great way to play steel guitar!
