A few months a go I did some trading, and obtained an electic, scrolling led sign.
I thought it would be cool to hang it on the front of my steel when playing out.
It would draw attention to the steel, and also could be a source of free advertising.

Here is a list of some messages I had thought to program into the sign:

Waitress, the band needs More Beer!

Thanks to the (insert name) bar and grill,
$2.00 drafts from 9 to 12

(band introduction) so-and-so on drums, ect.

Do you like the sound of the pedal steel guitar? I give lessons! For only $1.00, you can sit on my lap, LADIES ONLY, And I will teach you!

SHOW YOUR ****!

Okay, some of these would be too much fun, but what do you guys think of the general Idea? I am seriously considering doing this.
Also, feel free to post more funny messages.

I had one years ago when I DJ'd. Watch out for RF interference! And, why carry yet another large heavy object?

Seriously, why not? However, if you can't see it watch out for band mates sabotaging it and changing the message!
