I am going down there for my sister's graduation soon and was just curious to see how many were there. Thanks a lot. |

Not many, but there's a few here. Forum members Dan Salini and Terry Edwards live in or near Salt Lake. I play dobro and lap-steel and am working my tail off on the pedal-steel, but it's slow going.
Steve Allred, who manages a local music store, is probably the best around. He plays a U12. There are only three or four others I've run across. I'd be interested in hearing from any others. |

Did Steve used to play for The Sawmill Creek Band (out of Jackson Hole, WY)?

I remember Steve playing with Danny Rogers and Chugwater (out of Cheyenne, Wyo.) for a long time. I'm not sure if he ever played with Sawmill Creek or not. His store is in Centerville but I don't remember the new name either. It used to be Guitar City.
There are a couple of psg players in Vernal, Utah. I know one of them (Jim Still) told me that he recently joined the forum. Jim loves playing, talking, listening to... anything steel.
