People often think that there are no steel players in Europe.Well....there are.And "Good" ones to.Here's a WMA sample I got this morning from a man over here who wanted to let me hear how his Birdseye Emmons sounded.
I must confess that it sounds really great.If you ask me those Emmons guitars are killers.

well this is not only about the emmons push pull.
the man who is playing this guitar is a proffesional player so that will clear a lot more about the quality
and i know this man who is playing.
he is very well knowledge for over so many years was a proffesional player in a band with so many gigs aswell outside the netherlands.

Johan, this man is Peter Manuel who is/was playing by Buntline?Nashville Cats.
and he is a very knowlegdable proffesional pedalsteelplayer from our country.
i think you already know him.

When I started to get to know--and like--the Netherlands, Johan, I think it was, once told me there are over 400 Dutch steelers!
Also (at least) two fine builders of steels: our Forum's own Ron Steenwijk, and Jan Visser.
Now all they need is for one of the conservatories to open a Department of Country Music! (Don't laugh--there's a department of tango at the Conservatory in Rotterdam!)
