Galway Bay

After hearin Roy Thomson play this one I just had to try and learn it so I put the new Ricky down for a rest and got out my Fender Champion. I'm still workin on it but decided to see what I sounded like. It's a great learnin tool to be able to record yourself now and then to see if and how much you've progressed. Anyone else play this one? Galway Bay

Andy any time you listen to yourself it is a good feedback tool for learning.

By the way were you using the BIAB to record with?

I thought Galway Bay was a nice tune for the steel. Another good Irish tune for steel is Danny Boy. I have played that, but not Galway Bay.

If you keep on keeping on you will make progress. Keep up the good work.

Hi Don. Yeah I used Band in a Box and PowerTracks. "keep on keepin on" very good advice, I think I'll take it.
