I'll have to amen that one. I got my copy in January when I met Jim in Kyle, Tx. at the Hays County Country Jamboree. Luckily, Jim will be the house band steel player. Saw him just last Monday there. Great show, great guy. His is the best steel CD I've gotten. I like his even better than Tom Brumley's that I have. Great recording.

Jerry,

Saying my CD sounds like it was recorded in the '60s is one of the nicest compliments I have gotten. Thank you!

Charley,

Thank you for the kind words and all of your support at the Hays County show!

Bobby,

Thank you for carrying the CD on the Forum. I hope you sell a million!

Best,

Jim

I've had my copy a couple weeks now. I agree with the sound assesment, very cool sound. Also, the guitar tone Jim gets is just great. All in all, I say that this CD is an excellent representation of who Jim is and what he is about. Very highly recommended to all steel fans.

Hey Jim,
I bought Jim's c.d. at the last Hays County Country Jamboree. All the tunes are great. But there's just something about Jonesy. The repeat button on my c.g player is goona get worn out pretty quick. Great c.d.
Jim an official request: how about playing Jonesy on the next H.C.C.J. show. The audience will love it. I'm sure Horrace wouldn't mind either. I know I'd like to see you play it. I might learn something.
