Bobby Ranes, Bob Rains and Bob Raines. Confusing isnt it. This has gone on since the late '50s. Bob Rains builds the steel and a fine job he does. Bob Raines was a guitarman around the Dallas area and I believe there were two more. Believe me my knowlege and ability was/is nowhere near either of these. Years ago, I suspected that a friend also used my name because of his situation in life. We were good enough friends that he knew I would not care and did not need to know. Jimmy Velvet also got us mixed up in the '70s and I had a hard time convencing him that I was not the one that had worked for him. I have received some email that should have gone to Rains Steelguitars all but one received a reply correcting the situation. My computer system would not let me reply to the latter. Sorry about this people but it has gone on for a long time.
