Well I just got back from Austin, TX. Not only to pick up my Shobud "The Professional" D-10 that Ricky D. just got done performing magic on, but I had to go to "Ego's" to watch these fellows pick.
Last time I was there, I said these guys are maxed out---what can they do to top that! They are the best! But last night, they OUTDID them selves---UNBELIEIVEABLE!! Redd, Billy Dee, and Ricky----WOWWWW!! And Chris cements it all together with world class drumminig! YOU GUYS RAISED THE BAR CLEAN OUT OF SIGHT!!
Ya'll need to go see these guys work together---if you don't, your trainin' ain't done and your missin' out.

I need to get out more. This "living in the country" stuff has its drawbacks.

James - first off, howdy from a fellow Okie (born Tahlequah, raised Seminole)... Second, you couldn't be more correct. Anyone who hasn't seen this smokin' combo in the small, comfortable space of Ego's is missing something. And the idea that Ricky can repair/restore a steel, play it on a top-notch gig, pack it up, and deliver it right there...Whoa!

Jack, I'm sure they won't mind the bootleg deal, as long as they recieve their 100% commision up front! HA! You can buy their cd's and dvd's if you want to. I have a copy, and they are super! Check out their websites.

I used to pick with Redd and Billy down on printer alley in the good ole days. Lots of fun. And Redd is so perty! He's my bud and I love him....

Also, Along with Redd, Billy Dee's web site is: www.BillyFDee.com
Billy Dee is too country for country, as he writes his own songs, and is a bass player's bass player DELUXE. All of this AND a country singers voice to die for! Go buy his cd, ya'll deserve some fine country refreshment.

Altho, I can't figure out why Redd don't do the majority of the singing. I much prefer his voice.

All four of these musicians are VERY heavey hitters, and they don't stand second to each other, or anyone else, in their chosen instrument, and vocals.
b0b, let's close this one up for keeps.
