Al "Porkey" Witherow from the Wheeling Jamboree in the early seventies?? I played a few dates with him but lost track over the years. I'm just wondering if he's still around. Unleash the hounds and let me know..Thanks

Unfortunately, Al's not with us anymore. He passed away earlier this year.

I saw him once at Wheeling, and once at New River Rance, and he was a great singer! He did a lot of touring in the '50s, '60s, and even into the '70s, when he switched from country music to religious music.
