Last night on the local PBS channel there was a 2 hour special "50 years of Geo Jones hits" featuring dozens of name performers honoring Jones. The band was all top N'ville pickers but I didn't recognize the steel player? He played a D-10 Franklin. Did anyone or has anyone seen this show?

I also watched that George Jones Special. (Ole George is one of the last of a breed!)
I was wondering who the OTHER steel player was. I believe he played behind Tanya Tucker. (A younger feller with a cowboy hat.)
...Here comes another one of those "Class Clown" Comments I'm famous for: ......Who was the steel player with Harry Condiff Jr.?

I've seen about 3-4 posts about that George Jones "Soundstage" on PBS and I haven't got to check it out yet. Paul Franklin on a live set with George Jones is almost unbeatable. Hopefully I'll catch it over the holidays.

I only saw a little of the show (they're selling a DVD though) but I'd guess that Kevin Owens was playing with Tanya Tucker if Paul Franklin wasn't...
