Hey Tony. I was wondering what is your tuning on your lap steel guitar? The one you used on The Murphys session. Thanks.

Hey Kenny, I use G tuning. High to Low-D B G D B G. Pretty much electric dobro. I'm using a Johnson strat right now for lap steel and I have a short scale electric tuned to E but, I haven't used it on anything yet.
Good to hear from you and tell everybody hello for me.

Kenny, I just happened to remember that I used my steel on some things but I'm not sure about that recording. Which recording is it? I have a couple that I played on.

Kenny, that was a 57' Fender lap steel. The reason I'm using the strat now is so I can have different pickup combinations. The Fender's almost to sweet sounding to use to play distortion with. Keep in touch. BTW I'll be at Lasting Sounds tomorrrow playing dobro on a session.
