Kay Das just sent us two cuts off of his "Shades Of Gentle" CD. Thanks again Kay, your prolific recording output is fantastic.

A tune from 'The Hollies' - "The Air I Breathe" and "I Won't Forget You"

Two new songs

We will see Kay in about six weeks at HSGA Joliet.

Kay, that is beautiful (The Air That I Breathe). A pretty melody, and your playing is like singing.

andy,

glad you liked the video, i had had no idea baz was taping me....the first tune was "harbor lights" and i had just begun "aloha oe" when baz's tape ran out. there i play West Coast GACEGACE, C6 tuning. I was plugged into whatever street mongrel battery amp was available, nothing extravagant...so the tone that you hear is what comes out of the guitar pick-up ( George L). i used no effects. for the tunes on the HSGA website i normally play in my home studio into a Fender Hotrod, which i pre-amp out into my mixing board. i sometimes use the Line6 delay, which is very good for steel guitar, and an optical compressor ( Punch Factory) sometimes just for DI, sometimes to give me some compression.
