Found this in Amazon - the DVD will be released on October 26 - sounds interesting!

"Five of the most accomplished and sought-after studio musicians in the industry team up to form The Players: Eddie Bayers on drums, Paul Franklin on pedal steel, John Hobbs on keyboards, Brent Mason on guitar and Michael Rhodes on bass. Now they welcome several artists with whom they're recorded for one incredible performance in Nashville. Shawn Colvin, Peter Frampton, Vince Gill, Travis Tritt and legendary session man Jim Horn perform on this thrilling DVD, which includes five songs written and performed by the Players and interviews with each member of the band. Songs include: Coal Train Boogie, Put Some Drive in Your Country, Tell Me I Was Dreaming, Lines on My Face, You Had To Be There, Lay Me Down, Get Out of This House, Goin' Up the Country, Little Liza Jane, Don't Try This at Home, Lucky Man, Geared Up"

Kind Regards, Walter

Isn't this the program that was aired on CMT a while back? I have the CD with these tracks - it's very good! 'Lay Me Down' and 'Lucky Man' are my favourites.

I think it was actually a way while back on TNN that it aired. I also have the Players CD and it is incredible. I also saw them live in Nashville at Third & Lindsley in March and they blew me away. I am a huge Brent Mason fan and have heard Paul Franklin do some great stuff on everybodies albums. But after that show I became a huge fan of the bass player Michael Rhodes. What a great player and cool guy.

But I could ramble forever abuot that show. It was the penicle of my musical experiences. But I definately want that DVD.
