Hey Lonnie !
I could prob get you a number........email me if you have trouble.
Talking about Lyn..........well I met him and made friends with him in St Louis........made a sort of loose arrangement to meet and have a beer or three in downtown Nashville..........cant remember iff we were in Tootsies or Roberts..............just sitting at the bar having a beer....when a pair of arms wrapped around me from the back.....I could tell by the print on the shirt who it was.......so I just said.."Hi Lyn.......what are you drinking?????"
Red Kilby was with him..so we had a few beers...........Lyn then took us upstairs an showed us the secret half door where they used to sneak out of the OPRY for a couple of beers between sets........had a great time with Lyn and Red.......also my wife Lyn was there as was my mate Smiley.
I forget which bar we were in....but i think it was Lyn Owsley who said.....look over there...........its Jessie Coulter and a few friends having a night out.....Red quietly said to me.......these people like to be left alone on a night out............which suited me fine..........I was with a few top steel players drinking beer..What more could I want? |
