This was included with a champion on ebay. What is the silver thing? The ends are tapered, is it some sort of adjusting tool?

Thanks, Ron

I don't know if this is it but in th 30s I saw an E pitch pipe that looked like this. The end with the scroll had a tiny hole to blow through and the e note sounded loud on the other end. This may not be it so don't take this as gospel. CC

I'm inclined to agree with John...the knife theory. Perhaps the guy was trying to imitate Joseph Kekuku...(story goes, he used a jack knife when he discovered the "steel" guitar...?)

that's a moestastalic..and the fender picks are used to adjust it..goes on top of the bottom, and make sure you use it, it won't sound right without it

I thought it was a coke spoon.

Moestastalic? Are you putting me on? "goes on top of the bottom" - now I know you are pulling my leg.

Maybe it's a Dingus.
