I don't know if this is it but in th 30s I saw an E pitch pipe that looked like this. The end with the scroll had a tiny hole to blow through and the e note sounded loud on the other end. This may not be it so don't take this as gospel. CC |

I'm inclined to agree with John...the knife theory. Perhaps the guy was trying to imitate Joseph Kekuku...(story goes, he used a jack knife when he discovered the "steel" guitar...?) |

that's a moestastalic..and the fender picks are used to adjust it..goes on top of the bottom, and make sure you use it, it won't sound right without it [This message was edited by George Redmon on 30 August 2005 at 08:32 PM.] |
