Robert Randolph/Sawyer Brown

To all who might be interested: Robert Randolph is featured on the new Sawyer Brown single, which has also been filmed for a video. Sawyer Brown has never been known for featuring steel (to say the least)and are not exactly tearing up the radio charts these days. But the video will probably get some play, which should be interesting. That will be an audience that's probably not much aware of Mr Randolph;, as far as I know it's his first (perhaps inevitable) venture into "Music Row" type stuff... I haven't heard or seen the thing yet, just passing along some Nashville news...

It would be so great if Robert's playing helped give more solos to back to the steel players on the new country stuff.
Instead of a rocked out screaming guitar solo we could get a sacred steel style rocked out screaming steel solo !

If that is what the producers want you know we are going to hear some killing wild stuff coming out of the A team guys.
