for sharing your time in the sun at the ISGC with Justin Trevino. I have been hooked on his singing since a friend sent me an mp3 of him a couple of years ago to put up on the Rebel™, Ricky and Jeff site. (still not done) Since then, I have managed to get all his current cd's from Honky Tonk music in Texas as they aren't available up here in Canada. I'll be on the lookout for his new one when it comes out as well. Great singer!! Great backup band!! Great steel!!

Your segment made it worhwhile staying up 'til after 2:00 am EST.

Thanks again!!

I'm a little prejudice as Johnny and Joan Cox are two of my dearest friends, but Johnny is not only an incredible steel guitarist but a very giving person who loves people.

I live about 20 minutes from the Ft Worth Stockyards where Justin and Johnny play often...I will not miss going and seeing these guys...it is one of the greatest evenings of incredible singing and steel music anywhere.

Rich:
I caught your interview with Justin and heard the mention of him playing bass with Johnny. I was hoping Johnny would have him sing "A" song but I sure wasn't expecting him to sing thru almost the whole set. IMO, that didn't take away anything from Johnny's playing but rather enhanced and showcased it. I enjoyed it immensely, along with all the other parts of the show I got to listen to, whether steel music or interviews. You people did a bang up job!!
