Let's hear where you guys will be playing Steel this friday & saturday.

Friday night, my band "Country Junction" plays in Springfield at the Robertson County Senior Citizens Center dance from 7pm till 9:30pm. Charlie Barnes, great singer & formerly with the Kendall's will be helping us out on Bass.
Then Saturday night, we'll be back at Flea Country for our big Dance from 7pm till 10pm. We play them good ole shuffles by Ray Price, lots of good stuff by Conway, The Possum, Johnny Bush and others. Plenty of Country Music, Cold Beer, and Hot Women. Ya'll drop by if you're in the area.

Conan's Pub, at the old Masonic Temple at 39th and Hawthorn Ptld OR with Trudy Falls, opening for Deke Dickerson on Friday. Saturday it's the golf course in Molalla OR with the John Henry Band.

Nothing for this Fri & Sat however Aug.5th,6th and 7th i'll be at the Zoo Club in Flagstaff Az.with the Walker Williams Band
out of Denver.If your passing through on I-40
stop and visit a spell.

Off this weekend for the first time in a long time! Looking forward to a good night's sleep, grilling on the patio, veggin' out with a DVD. Back to work next weekend at the Club Corner Bar.

Country Village Opry, Tickfaw, LA with the Country VIllage Band. I was priviledged to back the Macedonia Baptist Church Choir from Brookhaven MS last Sunday night at First Baptist of Jackson, MS. What a time! The Minister of Music asked me if I had ever been to the St. Louis Convention!

I'll be playing with "The Country Men" band at their regular Friday and Saturday Dance from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, at the Outdoorsmen's Club Building on Hi-Way 11-W between Bristol and Kingsport, Tn.
Plenty of Steel and Fiddle, playing most of the Older Country Tunes and a few new ones.

Off this weekend, but just played last night at The Ark, famous venue for folk and other acts, some local (like us) most national (like Jr. Brown, Jerry Jeff, John Prine, Asleep at the Wheel, etc., etc.). Pretty much an honor to play there. Good turn out. Good sound. We did just fine. Most of all, had much fun.

Friday at 2:00 and 6:30 I have the honor of backing Jennie Sealy this year. Then the 53rd year of the Original Country Music Show is at 8:00 PM as well as Saturday at 12:00 and 8:00.

Its my 34th year there. I started when I was 12 playing bass.

I will be playing at the Texas Opry in Weatherford, TX (east of Ft Worth about 30 minutes)Saturday at 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM as part of the Texas Opry Band. Albert Talley is on steel and I'm playing electric guitar...John Conlee and his band will be there as well as Leona Williams. Great wholesome, all family show.

Friday night at 7:00 PM at "Good Ole Boys" show in Barling Ar. I will be on Dobro, my son Jerry Jr. will be on lead guitar and Jerry Newberry and Austin Stewart will be on Steel Guitar.

Saturday night at 7:00 PM at "The Little O' Opry" in Westfork, Ar. 8 miles South of Fayetteville, Ar on I 540. I'm on Steel Guitar.

Sunday Night at the Bunch Penecostal Church in Bunch, Oklahoma with "One Way Flight". I'm on Steel Guitar.
