Several posts have appeared here on the Forum during recent months concerning harmonics, chimes, etc........and I have also received numerous inquiries from newer players.
Just wanted to alert those who might be interested to "Steelin' the Chimes" that is now playing on the jerrybyrdfanclub.com web site. Altho' I played this song note for note for many years while using A6th and C6th, I ultimately learned from Jerry Byrd that he recorded this entire tune using only the B11th tuning.
Those interested in learning/hearing another aspect of playing steel guitar just might benefit from hearing this fine example of steel guitar playing. |

That is a great tune. It played well on my system but the Ernie Lee tune would not play. Hope it can be fixed.
