Here's an idea...a steel guitar park somehwere (St. Louis?) with statues of the legendary players and their instruments. We could make pilgrimages to the park, or play with our steels facing toward the revered location.

Hmmm. Good idea, but not very practical and it just may never happen.

The next best thing (or maybe even better) is in the works.

something like Congo Square in the Crescent City (NO) which is known now as Louis Armstrong Park ?

Fellows, I think if you would click on the link you'd see a little "tongue in cheek" humor being used here as a leader to the real message. I don't think anybody on this forum offends God in their respect for another's accomplishments. I'd hardly call such respect worship, and I'm sorry if my original remarks gave you such an impression.
