Need Misc Derby Parts?

hello everyone.

i need the following Derby parts (might not use proper names) for adding a floor pedal. I thought i would ask here before contacting Derby.

(1) white large plastic/nylon bushing that goes in the L center brace. it fits in the 'U' shaped area on the L brace.

(1-3) brass locking collar with allen set screw that locks the pull rod on the bell-crank.

(1) floor pedal square cross crank shaft with allen screw for floor pedal adjustment

(1) small spring and eye screw used for the floor pedal return assistance for above part

basically all parts needed except for floor pedal, mounting bracket and floor pedal pull (rod) linkage with 'hook'.

Do yourself a favor and give Charlie a call. Charlie and Margrit are the NICEST people you can imagine, and their customer service is in a word - excellent. They will go out of their way to make your experience of Derby ownership an absolute pleasure. Imho, they also charge VERY MODEST fees for parts, service etc. If I were in your shoes, I'd give Charlie a ring and arrange to ship your guitar up to KY.

I'm personally thrilled with my Derby, but what's possibly even better imho, is that the Stepps are so wonderful when it comes to highly personalized, very, very affordable and lightning fast service.

do many of ya'll go over to Derby with your PSG and ask Charlie set it up? i guess you have to arrange a time with Charlie (or can you basically just show-up)?

i am very pleased with my Derby. the extreme left position of A pedal (first position) as i received it (purchased used and is an earlier model i understand) had to be moved one position to right and is very comfortable (left ankle) for me now. even though it had an odd setup (at least for me) and had to re-set for me as most all do anyway, it gave me a chance to learn the mechanics of the Derby, etc. i also added an aluminmum extension so i can adjust the LKV lever (B-Bb) down alittle more as my legs are short. the 'Green' Derby is in great cosmetic and mechanical condition. it honestly looks new and the pearl inlay really sets the green/black lacquer finish of nicely. it tunes and plays at least as well or better than my old ZUMM did! the Derby (GeorgeL E66 PU) tone may be alittle 'stronger' than my ZUMM, but i need to say the ZUMM had a split/dual coil PU so i could set tone very thin (out of phase), single coil or get a humbucking kind'a sound. i ran the ZUMM in single coil setting usually.

i am very happy with my Derby and would recommend a Derby to anyone with confidence.
