I just received a picture of Jimmy Day behind the Mr Sho-Bud guitar built by Bobbe Seymour thanks to Jerry Fessenden. I will post when someone refreshes my memory on how to.

I'd like to see that picture. One steel guitarist legend that left us just a few short years ago.

I just got off the phone with Jerry. He said the picture was taken 10 or 12 years ago at Bobbe Seymour's old shop. It wasn't Jimmy's guitar, he just posed with it for the picture.

The guitar is one that David Jackson and his brother were building for Shot but never finished. Bobbe got the guitar and put Emmons push-pull changers and undercarriage in it.

John, what a nice thing to do for Jimmy's family. Jim, thanks for sharing that info from Jerry. Bobby, thanks for this forum.
I took this guitar to the Southwest Steel show in Tempe Arizona with thoughts of selling it, after listening to Jay Dee pick around on it and a conversation about this guitar with him, I decided to keep it. Take care.

Bill , b0b , Ricky and the rest of the folks on this post .

I sent this on to Joe Day ( the older brother of Jimmy who just turned 80 young years) and got a very nice e-mail back from him saying that he really appreciated all the info. and photos about "little Brother" on your post/s .

Speaking for Joe ; "Thanks a million ".!!

Regards to all of you,
John
