Have that album on Flying Fish Lbel and the
name of the album is Minors Aloud. Someone
on the Forum was asking about this and i have a copy of it. Unbelievable playing. Two
great players together. Best to all of you
and have any of you seen Russ Hicks live? Just curious what kind og effects he's usingon his Two Mile Pike album. Any info
is appreciated. Regards TJH

There's also a recording alot of people don't seem to know about... Lenny Breau's "When Lightning Strikes" which features BE on side 2. It's kinda hard to find.

The last tune on this album is called "On A Bach Bouree" . I have tabbed out for C6 the actual Bach Bouree that Lenny plays at the begining of the tune. If any one wants a copy send me an email address.

My local public library has a copy of this album. Buddy is not mentioned at all on the cover. Hearing him came as a total surprise.

I wonder, were these cuts from the same session as Minors Allowed?

Also there is yet another Buddy Emmons album featureing Lenny Breau. This is actually his collaboration woth Buddy Spicher, called "Buddys" (Or maybe Buddies. I'm not sure of the spelling.) Lenny Breau is the guitar player on this LP.

Mike, I think it was a seperate session.
This album was discussed here some time ago and Buddy himself had forgotten about it. Then he recalled the session, and mentioned that he'd used a steel with an acoustic guitar pickup mounted under the 24th fret in a tonal experiment. http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum15/HTML/001756.html
