Here is a cut off a project we recorded at my house. The girl is Regina Mathews and steel is Denny Mathis. I converted this to an
MP3 and it seems the vocals got weak. Any comments are welcome.

I'm impressed!
It's very nice to hear Denny play again, and all musicians on the recording sounds great to my ears.
I had lessons from Denny at Dell View Music some 14 years ago and I was impressed then as well. Please tell Denny I said Hi!

Sonny she is 18 now and has a sit down job at the Far West Rodeo. I sent you email and I wonder if you got it.

Gary she is Regina Mathews and a real talent. We have been lucky enough to do a few shows with her and I look forward to it every time.

Gordon,

Thank's for posting the song. Great, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Regina. Tell her "Hi" from an ex-South Texan that used to play on the Brush Country Jamboree, if you see her again.

Gary, Regina played on the Brush Country show many times, starting when she was about 8 years old! She has quite a personality, and really loves her music.

The last time I saw her, she wanted to learn to play the bass...go figure?

Take care,

Les

Les I sure will tell her you said hello!
Our band needed to learn a lot of girl songs because be were backing Kelly King on her shows a few years ago. I met Regina at the Pioneer Opery Ed Pryor was putting on here in San Antonio. She was fourteen and when she bounced on stage (yes bounced) and cut lose with Draging The bow my jaw hit the floor. She grabs your attention and has you focus on her performance with every fiber of your body. She teamed up with Kelly King and they wanted The Buckshot Band to back them up because we knew the material. We played the Rodeo at the Junk Yard dog saloon for the last three years and that place fills up to the rafters to hear her. We made a demo of her at my house so she can sell them at gigs. Her cut of "SummerTime" with Denny is awesome.
