A lot of long days at the shop have left me too pooped to play for the last month or so. I collapse onto the couch at night in front of the TV and look at the steel sitting next to me. At these times I often think I should just sell it and stop the frustration. This is when I tune into the forum have a fews laughs, get inspired, and have at it again. Thanks to all who run the forum and to all who contribute to help keep another bad steel player behind the wheel.

Those remarks remind me of when I was learning the 10 button Cajun accordion. It was SOOOO hard. Then my girlfriend came in one day and said Wow! you're playing the accordion and it isn't even lumpy! Then I went on to make my living playing it for the next 15 years. I've played non-pedal steel for years but now I'm learning E9th. Let's just say that I'm a certain character on the Leave It to Beaver show once again. I AM gonna git this thing. BW
