Well It didn't really occur to me till this afternoon to post my old X-mas tune,
but here it is. Merry Christams all, a day or so late.

Slide On Home For Christmas
A 30's Lousisana flavored, get back to her for the holidays, song.

I wrote this around 1994 with NYC lapsteeler Dan Hovey in mind.
He did a great job on my dobro in C6.
And also another Dan who plays clarinet for Leon Redbone and the Flying Neutrinos, plus "The last of the bigtime playboys" on Hohner accordian.

A "happy" song that captures very well the importance of getting together with loved ones during this season. David, thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks guys. I like all the "Happy" comments a lot!
Both Dan's did a great job too.

I always loved Dan Hovey's playing, so I featured him on a x-mas slide tune.
He is playing some nights with Sheri in NYC alternating with Jeff Lampert.

It is one of my most popurlar tunes. I am doing a new version at this time. The old ADAT masters got lost so I can't add anything.
