Just an update for you all....

First I want to thank this forum for it's speedy response to my recent sale of my Mullen D-10. Special thanks to Skip Mertz for the referral, and Jack Schultz for the purchase, which funded my crash landing in Huntsville, Tx at a relative's property which was luckily available.

It has been a very difficult 3 months, but fortunately the period of unemployment is over starting Jan. 6.

I will be working in s. Denver in the englewood area - known for its "technical Parrk" on a project that appears to have much potential for a long time to come.

Naturally, I am excited because Del Mullen's shop is just down the road in Littleton, CO. I am sure I will make it up there. And with this new job, hopefully be able to fund a new instrument soon. I surely miss it.

I am also excited to actually have the opportunity to be doing something I like to do AND especially because it is in Colorado. I am very grateful and anxious to get started. My family won't be making it up there for 5 months or so, and after it is determined this is a long term commitment.

I am hoping there is a lot of opportunity to play music up there as well. Guitar, bass, keys and ultimately steel once I get another one.

Sorry for the lengthy post, but I have not been too active lately due to the job search, and hot having a steel. Things are on the upswing, again... this time I hope to make it for a very long time.

Bill, thanks for keeping us posted. It's a good thing to be able to keep up with all the folks who comprise the steel guitar community, especially when it's on an upswing.

Best of luck with your new endeavor.

Bill,
Congratulations on the new job. I sincerely hope this one works out. You've had a year that I wouldn't wish on somebody I didn't like. Keep in touch and Happy New Year!
Mike
