My wife (Toni) and I just got back from seeing and hearing a really fantastic show. Eleven pieces in all except for the last three grand finale tunes which included a magnificent Methodist church chior and their minister of music. Man, these guys came to play and Buck was featured on most of the songs. Got to meet him both before and after the show. A gentleman's gentleman is Buck Reid and this goes along with being a super picker. He really makes that JCH sound as good as it gets.
Thanks Buck for being so nice and cordial.
It was a good time.
BB

I was disapointed to read the review of the Nashville show in the Nashville paper, no mention of Buck whatsoever.??????

I had the pleasure of listening to Buck Reid in Va and meeting him. I don't think it can get any better; Buck when are you putting out another CD? I have the one that I purchased (along with Jimmy's) at the jam in Va. and when are you and Jimmy coming back our way?

Lyle's shows are great. Good old-fashioned music for music's sake. Excellent musicians every time, dressed in suits. One of the classiest show you're gonna see these days.

I've seen him with the Large Band, with a string section, and with a more stripped-down band (featuring Mike Auldridge). Every show I've seen was amazing.

I saw Lyle with his "large band", including Francine!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!! He even did STAND BY YOUR MAN, and the ladies roared! But my favorite of his CDs is Pontiac. The man has some soul!

Hi Buck

I just got off the phone with Bobby Black, and
after knowing him for 30 years, I have never heard him praise another steel player like he did you! Do you have a CD or CD's you have played on? I'd love to hear your playing.

thx

bob
