What a Super bunch of guys. I meet them and they asked about my "Outfit" that I used. They asked me if I had ever heard of Corky Owens, and I said that I knew of him from the SG Forum, and asked if he was still playing for Gene Watson, and, of course they said Yes, he was, and that he was doing a Texas Gig with Gene at this time. I really enjoyed opening for this "Hot" Group. Puts on a Heck of a show. We opened for them in Bossier City(Shreveport) at a Casino/hotel/nightclub called "Ropers".
Real place to play. We will be there for the next 3 weeks. GOOD pay TOO.

Ron. I agree with you on how super nice they are. I opened for them when I had my band a few years ago in Fort Smith, Ar. at the old Red Roper club. It was called Bordertown then. We were there for the weekend with Perfect Stranger being there on the Friday. The way the show was suppose to go is that we would open for them and after the show was over we would get back up and finish out the night. We got a real treat when Richard (Perfect Strangers lead guitar player) got up and picked with us. Our guitar player and Richard had a blast together. It was a very memorial night for us all. I still have the group photo of Perfect Stranger on my wall in my office. I hope that one day I can get my band back together and do something like that again. Unfortunate things happened and I had to go into retirement for a while. I'm not out of it yet though.

As odd as that groups name is, we had a band in the late 80's with that name. They obviously stuck together longer.
