I just remembered the name of the Haggard song I couldn't think of Sunday! "I'd Trade All of My Tomorrows"...do you do that one?

I thought I knew most all of 'em, but I can't recall that one.

Must be Kristofferson stole that line for his Me and Bobby McGee.

I can't remember who did it. I think it was one of the "cowboy" singers. But, I heard this song a lot when I was just a kid in the late 40's and/or early 50's and I'm fixin' to be 68.

Ron:
If you have it, check out his very first album, "Strangers" from 1965. Song is on that album, which was re-released as a double cd in 1998.

Song was also done by Eddy Arnold and Slim Whitman.

I think I have that in my BIAB files. (tunes)
I know we did it in the first group I joined in July of 1947. Eddy Arnold was doing it about then as I recall. "Ploughboy" not "cowboy", Bobby B. I'm fixin' to be 75 in February......

The song was written by Jenny Lou Carson in the 1940's and had lots of recordings by the "crooners" of the time: Eddy Arnold, Jimmie Davis, George Morgan.
Willie Nelson recorded it in the 1960's for RCA, Tex Williams had it on his "Live in Las Vegas" album. Among other artists who recorded it are Faron Young, Wesley Tuttle and Justin Tubb.
