I was talking to Bill Sanders, who played in
the 70s with Rocky and the Rythmn Makers in
around Halfway Station. He was wondering if
anyone knew a Steeler from Nashville that had
a triple neck who sat in with them about this
time. He mentioned the Kinsley Ranch gig. Bill can't remember his name and thought maybe someone could. He also mentioned a guitarist Del Noe and steeler Les Abltree.

Isn't Hal Rugg out there now? I don't remember him with a triple neck, though. [This message was edited by Roger Crawford on 11 November 2003 at 05:51 PM.] |

This steeler would have been in Tuscon in the
70's.He split with his wife and moved to Arizona and giged with them for a short period of time. He then returned to Nashville and his wife. Bill Sanders, who told the story, is probably in his late 60's. He also mentioned Gary Paxton
who later was with Skip and Flip. Ring any
bells. No real urgency to contact him. Bill
was just telling me about old times and I love those stories.[This message was edited by Chuck McGill on 12 November 2003 at 06:13 AM.] |

Wynn said "It's Such A Pretty World Today" was the worst selling record he ever had. Thought it was because it got so much air play no body had to buy it.
