Just a note to say that Jerry Roller brought out the EMCI and two Standel amps ( Mike Cass' gigging gear ) tonight and it sounded awesome....absolutely fabulous tone. Mike, you'd have been proud. This was the Nov. jam for the NEOSGA club in Siloam Springs, Ar. Great guys, and good fellowship.

I talked to M.C. last night on the phone for awhile-He is staying busy by working on guitars now instead of playing-too bad he is hanging up the picks-He is a great player!

Larry, I agree with you totally concerning Roller's playing. I really enjoyed his set. However, I do tend to find that I enjoy his picking no matter what he plays. I have the priviledge of getting to pick with him each Friday night and I never cease to be amazed at his astounding grasp of music and his mastery of taste and tone, and by the way, on Friday's he plays the Dobro exclusively.

A bit off the topic, however, I did want to mention that Larry also turned in a fine performance on Saturday night as well. Mighty fine bass playing and excellent singing.

Randy

Randy....gracias....was this the first you heard that maybe Roller and I were related? FYI....this Randy dude is a highly capable player of most anything with strings including, but not limited to, pedal steel. My first time to hear him on steel...superb job..played with authority.
