I've had this thought for a while now and am curious if anyone else has had this experience. Did you ever have a friendship that later turned toxic and the friendship didn't survive, but before they showed their rear end, they introduced you to a genuine person that you're now glad to call friend. My two best friends in the world are guys I met through an idiot/nerd/moron/jerk etc. Matlock in Branson, Jenkins in Minn., Petree in Bakersfield, Wright in Modesto...I realize that's more than two....ya just gotta figure who....point is, moral is, it would have been easy to discard the first friend before they had a chance to do something worthwhile. How 'bout it??? Anyone had this experience??

Yup. I guess thet unless they flat beg for it, you're better off leaving the people that need a "fishing trip" alone for a while..

Two reasons: You might find out that you were wr... wro..... ww... You know what I'm tring to say.

Also that they might be of some future use..

God knows I've played guitar for enough of them after thay "crossed the line"..
